The longer version
A membership tier bundles a price with rules. A basic tier might allow bookings 7 days ahead at member rates. A higher tier adds 14 days ahead, 2 included hours a week, and free open play. Tiers give players a reason to pay more and give the club recurring revenue it can plan on.
Clubs care because membership income smooths the seasons. A padel club with a full winter and a slow August still pays rent in August. Tiers also decide who gets peak slots: earlier booking windows are the benefit members value most.
Mistakes: more than 3 or 4 tiers, benefits that are hard to explain at the desk, and included hours that quietly block the peak schedule. Keep tiers few, name them plainly, and check each quarter which benefits are actually used.
