Accessibility statement
Lobby wants every player and every member of club staff to be able to book, pay, and manage a club without barriers. This statement covers getlobby.io, the Lobby admin app, the sign-in flow, and the club storefronts and booking pages Lobby hosts for its customers.
1. Our target
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means keyboard access with a visible focus indicator, names and roles for controls that assistive technology can read, color contrast that meets the AA ratio, text that reflows at 400% zoom, and no content that relies on color or motion alone.
Reduced-motion preferences are honored across marketing and product surfaces, and forms announce errors next to the field they belong to.
2. Where we are today
Lobby is a pre-launch product. We run automated accessibility audits against the site and do manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on the booking, checkout, sign-in, and onboarding flows before each release. We know of the following limitations and are working through them:
- Some schedule and calendar grids are easier to use with a pointer than with a keyboard alone.
- Charts in reports carry summary text, but not every data point is available to a screen reader.
- Card payment is completed on Stripe Checkout, whose accessibility is maintained by Stripe rather than Lobby.
- Clubs can customize the colors of their storefront. Lobby limits combinations that fall below the AA contrast ratio, but a club's own images and uploaded documents are outside that check.
3. Tell us about a barrier
If something on a Lobby-hosted page is hard to use with your assistive technology, email [email protected] with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and aim to provide a fix or a working alternative within ten business days.
For a booking you cannot complete online, the club's own contact details are shown on its storefront, and club staff can create the booking for you.
4. Clubs and venues
Each club is responsible for the accessibility of its venue, its programs, and the content it publishes on its storefront. Lobby gives clubs a place to describe step-free access, accessible courts and changing rooms, and how to request an accommodation, but Lobby does not verify those descriptions.
